Our Father's Uncle, Edward Salven, was Assistant Director to Cecil B. DeMille, among others, and was a good friend of Bob Hope, and many other entertainment stars of the period.

Both born in Poland, and died in Schenectady
(no marriage date available - name later changed to Salven)
11 children, include 3 boys and one girl who died of Scarlet Fever.

They may have emigrated 1892-93 ...
